New range of Amazonian ultrasonic tinctures
We would like to introduce our new range of ultrasonic tinctures from Munay, which we consider to be the pinnacle of extraction alchemy. Munay tinctures provide the kind of experience where the rhythms of the Amazon rainforest, encapsulated in these bottles, literally stir not only your brainwaves but also your taste buds. All thanks to a unique ultrasonic extraction method that preserves the essence of the plant in all its (full-spectrum) glory - from the taste and effects to the aroma.
What is ultrasonic herb extraction?
Ultrasonic herb extraction is a revolutionary method of processing plant material that uses ultrasonic waves to effectively release bioactive compounds from plants. The process takes place in specially designed vessels where the plant material is exposed to high frequency ultrasonic waves. This vibration helps to release valuable substances from the plant cells, increasing the potency and purity of the extract. Ultrasonic extraction is particularly valued for its ability to preserve sensitive substances that could be damaged by traditional heat-based extraction methods.

The entire process of producing these tinctures - from the harvesting of the plants to the extraction itself to the final bottling - takes place in friendly communities in Ecuador, where the Munay Naturals project headquarters is located - an extraction laboratory in the heart of the rainforest.
The word Munay comes from Quechua (the language of the indigenous peoples of Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Argentina, Chile and Colombia).
Munay is, on the one hand, an action verb; it expresses the very act of loving (I love).
It is also a noun; it expresses a state of consciousness, of being, of love, which is unconditional, all-inclusive.
Munay is a symbol of love for creation, love for nature, love for oneself, and love for other beings. It is a "way of love" where we walk together in the same direction, towards the same goal, with mutual respect, regardless of our differences and disagreements.
The resulting extract is preserved with alcohol before being put into the bottle , which prevents the spread of unwanted microorganisms, prolongs the life of the tincture and keeps the active ingredients stable.
Why do we use alcohol?
Alcohol has been a popular extraction and preservation agent among herbalists for about 4,000 years. Its popularity stems from its unique properties, which allow it to extract, encapsulate, and subsequently deliver the essence of plants to the human body. Even though non-alcoholic extracts and tinctures are currently gaining popularity, we stand by the fact that alcohol is the most effective, most practical, and also the safest preservative and extraction agent. And for those of you who still feel some resistance to these types of extracts, remember the saying, “Whether it’s a poison or a medicine depends solely on the dose.” And so, a few drops of an alcohol-based tincture can, at most, gently lift your mood or stimulate your immune system. In fact, such trace amounts of alcohol can also be found in ripe bananas and other fruits, and even in bread.
