Theobroma cacao – a gift from the gods
The cacao tree (lat. Theobroma cacao) is an evergreen tree native to South America. Its seeds – cacao beans – have been valued by mankind for thousands of years. They are used to make cacao, high-quality chocolate, and ceremonial cacao, which retains most of the nutrients and plant intelligence from this sacred tree.
The combination of caffeine and theobromine provides the body with a gentle, stable boost. Amino acids and neuroactive substances such as tryptophan and anandamide promote good mood, creativity, and cognitive function. It is therefore no surprise that cacao, with its heart-opening qualities that promote empathy, gratitude, and a deeper sense of belonging, is considered a true superfood for the body, mind, and spirit.

Bahia and Mata Atlântica
Cacao Ritual comes from one of the most biologically diverse areas on the planet – southern Bahia. This endangered rainforest ecosystem, whose original area has shrunk to less than 3%, is home to countless endemic species and is key to ecological balance.
Cacao grows with the utmost respect for this landscape, under the canopy of ancient trees, in an environment that breathes life, the scents of the earth, and the wisdom of indigenous traditions.
Cabruca agroforestry – syntropy in nature and agriculture
Cacao trees are grown using the traditional Cabruca system, where they grow in the shade of native rainforest trees. This method not only protects biodiversity but also supports the natural balance of the ecosystem and provides livelihoods for local communities.
Some farms also use biodynamic and syntropic agroforestry systems, which regenerate the soil, promote humus formation, and significantly reduce their ecological footprint.
Avó dos Saberes Project
This project, whose name in Portuguese means "guardian of knowledge," protects the ancient knowledge of the region and combines sustainable agriculture with the wisdom of indigenous traditions. Here, Cacao an expression of a deep connection with nature and a contribution to the regeneration of the planet.
Handcrafted and high quality
Each brick of cacao is made by hand – from planting to final processing. Gentle fermentation and low-temperature roasting preserve the entire nutritional spectrum of cacao: high antioxidant content, minerals such as magnesium, iron, and zinc, theobromine, tryptophan (mood and energy booster), and the neurotransmitter anandamide, otherwise known as the "bliss molecule."
Cacao is organic, ethical, fair trade, and fully traceable.
