Chaga, Latin Inonotus obliquus, also known by the Czech name Rezavec oblique, is a medicinal mushroom that is an integral part of traditional Russian and Chinese medicine. The homeland of this hub is mainly Siberia, but also the northern regions of China.
mushroom contains an unprecedented amount of antioxidants such as phenols and melanins, which slow down the aging process and protect the body from oxidative stress. There are also high amounts of polysaccharides, terpenes, steroids, proteins and amino acids. Chaga is also rich in vitamins, mainly B, D and K, and building elements such as magnesium, sodium, calcium, zinc, manganese, iron and others. Due to this unique composition, it supports the immune system and harmonizes the body.
Chaga is also known for its stimulating effects. Supports cognitive functions, improves memory and attention. It also serves as an effective adaptogen – it helps a person to cope with difficult living conditions. It is therefore appropriate to use it during periods of mental and physical strain.
Dosage:
Chaga in the form of the extract is used in the amount of 0.5 g – 1g per dose. We recommend taking it once or twice a day. The extract has a slightly bitter taste, so it is suitable to dissolve it in cocoa, coffee, tea or another favorite drink. We recommend flavoring with milk or honey. The extract can also be mixed into dishes such as yogurt, porridge or smoothie.
