Reishi, in Latin Genoderma lucidum, is one of the most famous medicinal fungi. For centuries it has been a part of traditional Chinese medicine, where it serves as a remedy for a wide range of diseases. It contains a high amount of bioactive substances that make it a unique healing agent. There are high levels of polysaccharides, beta-glucans, ganoderans, steroids, triterpenes, fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and building elements such as zinc, copper, calcium and more. Its spectrum of positive effects is so wide and is rightly referred to as a mushroom of longevity or immortality.
Dosage:
Reishi in the form of the extract is taken in the amount of 0.5 g – 1g per dose. We recommend taking it once or twice a day. The extract has a slightly bitter taste, so it is suitable to dissolve it in cocoa, coffee, tea or another favorite drink. We recommend flavoring with milk or honey. The extract can also be mixed into food such as yogurt, porridge or smoothie.
