Reishi, Latin Genoderma lucidum, is one of the most famous medicinal mushrooms. For centuries, it has been part of traditional Chinese medicine, where it serves as a remedy for a wide range of diseases. It contains a high amount of bioactive substances that make it a completely unique healing agent. We can find here high amounts of polysaccharides, beta-glucans, ganoderans, steroids, triterpenes, fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and building elements such as zinc, copper, calcium and others. Its spectrum of positive effects is really wide and it is rightly referred to as a mushroom of longevity or immortality.
Dosage:
Reishi in the form of an extract is used in the amount of 0.5 g – 1 g per dose. We recommend taking 1 – 2 times a day. The extract has a slightly bitter taste, so it is advisable to dissolve it in cocoa, coffee, tea or other popular drink. We recommend seasoning with milk or honey. The extract can also be mixed into dishes such as yogurt, porridge or smoothie.
