Tetrahydroharmine is manufactured by our chemist. The production process is as follows: Extraction of alkaloids from Syrian Rue -> separation of harmaline -> conversion of harmaline to THH by zinc reduction. More info here.

Tetrahydroharmine Hcl

Tetrahydroharmine (THH) is a compound found primarily in the plant Banisteriopsis Caapi, which is one of the main ingredients of the hallucinogenic beverage Ayahuasca. As well as other active substances of this liana –harmine and harmalinebelongs to the same category of harmal alkaloids. It also exhibits similar properties – it acts as a MAO-A inhibitor, thus regulating the activity of important neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin. Compared to the already mentioned alkaloids, THH is unique in that it also acts as an SSRI. Its nature of effects is also completely different...

The active ingredients of this product are in the form of HCl – they are therefore easily soluble in water.
