Banisteriopsis Caapi Yellow Vine – crushed leaves

Banisteriopsis caapi is a creeper that has been used for centuries in South America as one of the main ingredients of the sacred hallucinogenic drink Ayahuasca. Shamans use this drink for internal healing and divination. In some cases, the plant is given independently. Although it does not induce such rich hallucinogenic experiences, it still contains a lot of active substances affecting the nervous system. A decoction of this liana acts primarily as a natural antidepressant. It can pleasantly lift the mood and relieve stress and anxiety. Slightly hypnotic effects can be used for deep meditation or relaxation. After using the plant, it falls asleep beautifully, followed by vivid and colorful dreams.
